I hired Jake to represent me in my dissolution on the 16th. By the 20th he had charged me 2100 dollars in work completed! Gave Cordell and Cordell 2800 for a retainer and in 13 days they said I owe them 1800!! Only filed one motion!! And all charges are padded to the nth degree. So they got me absolu...tely nowhere and charges me 4,200 dollars and I am a stay at home parent that has no income. It was a miracle that I came up with 2800 from begging borrowing etc. these people are evil. I understand lawyers are expensive but I was basically robbed by a lying thieving attorney. When I disputed the bill they were very very rude. I told them good luck getting that money I'll see if a judge sees it as I do. Robbery!! With nothing to show for it. Stay away!! U have been warned!!

I am a devoted father who is trying to get half custody of my son from his mother because my son has ADHD and a slight autism problem that is not even noticeable I hired Jacob as an attorney I gave him 1000.00 down and paid him another 1000.00 dollars in payments just to start on my case and honestly... he did not do anything at all good for me he charged me approximately 20 dollars a phone call everytime we talked we went to 3 different court dates regarding my son and not once could he get me in front of the judge everytime it was rescheduled and on our last court date he arrived at the court house 5 mins before it was time for our court date to begin there was also some important paperwork that he mailed to a old address when he had my current address on file when I have been in my new home for a few months he still sent it to an old address. Then to top it all off I got a new job and was making my weekly payments to get my account caught up and he contacted me 2 weeks before our final court date and said that the owner Chad said that I had 10 days to give them 1900.00 or they was not going to represent me anymore so my opinion they got over 2000.00 from me for doing absolutely nothing he is young and not professional and has no business being a lawyer in my opinion I also contacted the owner Chad wuertz and told him that everytime me and Jacob goes to court he is not doing anything for me and he can't even get us in front of the judge and Chad said he goes over everything Jacob does and there is nothing they can do about it. And my son is still in a hospital because he didn't do anything for my case so I lost the money that I work hard for and I still owe them almost 3000.00 for what some paperwork is all I have to show for it. So please listen to me I would never ever hire him again nor would I refer him to my worst enemy it was a big waste of time and money.. And everything I just said is 1000 % accurate I hope nobody else has to find out like I did. Sincerely Cory.
