Courtney Elizabeth Endwright

Courtney joined Betz + Blevins as an associate following her graduation from law school in November 2012. She joined Betz + Blevins because of her strong commitment to advocacy for individuals.

At Betz + Blevins, she has advocated for physicians, residents, paramedics, teachers, school administrators, business executives, corporate employees, and university professors in employment contract negotiations, severance negotiations, litigation before state and federal court, and appeals to the Indiana Court of Appeals.

As a law student, Courtney spent her first summer as an intern with Magistrate Judge Tim A. Baker in the United States District Court for the Southern District of Indiana. Her second year of law school she spent as a law clerk at the law firm of Cohen & Malad. During the summer of her second year of law school, she served as a certified legal intern for the Office of the Indiana Attorney General’s Office in the Medicaid Fraud Control Unit. In her third year, she spent the fall semester as an intern with USA Track and Field. In the spring of her third year, as an intern in the Appellate Clinic, where she represented an indigent client in his appeal before the Indiana Court of Appeals under the supervision of Professor Joel Schumm.

Courtney also participated in a number of extracurricular activities. She served as the Editor-in-Chief of the Indiana Health Law Review from 2011 to 2012 (Volume IX). For her work, she was recognized with the 2011–2012 Hall, Render, Killian, Heath & Lyman Health Law Award.

Courtney has also volunteered in various capacities, including serving as a Tutor in the Dean’s Tutorial Society for Legal Analysis, Research, and Communication (LARC) and as a judge in the Indiana High School Mock Trial Competition as well as the We the People: The Citizen and the Constitution Competition.
