also known as Stan Wruble
Stan Wruble was born and raised in Indiana. Stan attended Valparaiso University on an academic scholarship. At Valpo he was president of his fraternity, and involved in the campus newspaper and radio station, as well as student government. He was the first person from his family to graduate from college in 1994. He graduated from Notre Dame Law School in 1997, where he worked in the Legal Aid Clinic and Moot Court. Stan practiced law in South Bend before moving to Chicago in 2000. He worked for a large international firm in Chicago until he took a sabbatical in 2004. This journey lead him to 19 countries in Europe, the Middle East and Asia over 7 months. Perhaps the mist rewarding experience of that soul-searching journey was riding a motorcycle through Vietnam. Upon returning to Chicago in 2005, and after a major trial victory, Stan was asked to teach Trial Advocacy at Northwestern University Law School, where he taught until 2010. He moved back to Indiana in 2006, starting his own law firm. In his criminal practice, he represents clients charged across the spectrum of criminal conduct - misdemeanor through murder - in both state and federal courts. In addition to his practice, Stan was formerly an Adjunct Law Professor at the Notre Dame Law School, where he had taught aspiring law students how to become trial lawyers. In his free time he enjoys spending time with his family, traveling, yoga, running, reading, and mountain biking. Want to know more about the cases Attorney Wruble handles? Please contact our office.

Lie
He lied to me telling me I wouldn't have to drop if I took probation so I signed the plea my probation officer reached out to him he said he never told me that and he hasn't responded to any of my calls
Before you signed a plea agreement, which is all in writing, I explained the terms and conditions. Similarly, the Judge did the same thing in open court before he accepted your plea agreement. I explained probation to you once before we got the plea agreement document, once when you signed it, and the Judge explained it to you in open court. So on 3 occasions it was explained what was required of you. I am sorry if you still did not understand.

A bad situation turned good
I was in some trouble after an altercation at my house. Stan told me to let him worry about it. I didn’t stop worrying. I called and emails and texted probably way to much but he understood and appeased me. After a few months of court dates, we were going to take it to trial. The prosecutor finally b...

Kicks you when you're down
I hired Stan to help my son. I paid him a good chunk of money and, in the beginning, he was a decent attorney. Part of my son's deal was future misdemeanor treatment. This didn't get taken care of so I reached out to Stan. He ignored multiple calls, texts and emails, then ended up saying I was st...

Stayed Suspension/Probation issued in IN, 2024
updated on 11/06/2024Stayed Suspension/Probation means an attorney did something wrong but may still practice law. This type of suspension means the attorney has been suspended, but that the suspension is placed on hold (and ultimately removed) if the attorney complies with certain requirements. In this case the State also monitors the lawyer's activities for a period of time in hopes that he or she will not repeat the behavior.
