Jonathan Scott Gotkin

My little brother is currently incarcerated and Jonathan is his attorney. My brother mailed me a letter requesting I contact his lawyer regarding his case and a complaint filed against Shelby County Jail for mistreatment. Jon was very unprofessional, had no concern for my brother and rudely hung up... on me without cause. I called him back and left a message that I needed to discuss other matters regarding the case. I also pointed out in my voicemail that my perception of our last call is that he is not very compassionate or attentive to my brothers case. He called me back, screamed at me stating "I'm not going to discuss your brothers case", when I asked him why (he is legally allowed to and did not listen to why I was calling), he said "because I don't have to" and hung up on me. I would also like to point out that by Brother waited over 2 weeks to talk to this guy or get any correspondence because he was "on vacation".
