Biography
Derek Atwood represents clients in criminal matters as well as civil. After graduating from Shelbyville High School, Derek completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Saint Francis in Fort Wayne, Indiana, graduating in 2012 with a double major in Political Science and Sociology. Before graduating, Derek served as the university’s student government vice president and president and as a member of the varsity football team was the first Academic All-American in the University’s history.
Recently admitted to the Indiana Bar, Derek graduated from Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law in 2016. During his time in law school, Derek served in various clerk and intern positions working in both civil and criminal law capacities.
