Justin joined Boren, Oliver & Coffey, LLP in 2014 and practices both criminal defense and civil law. In his criminal practice Justin has tried every level of felony case including numerous homicide and drug dealing cases. Justin has secured acquittals in the highest level of felonies including attempted murder, neglect of a dependent resulting in death, and drug dealing just to name a few.

In addition to a wide breadth and depth of experience in criminal law, Justin also maintains a very active civil practice. In 2019 Justin was named a top 40 Litigation Lawyer under 40 in the state of Indiana by the American Society of legal advocates. Justin has represented clients in personal injury, medical malpractice, family law, and administrative proceedings with the Indiana Attorney General

Prior to studying law, Justin worked in the transportation industry as a commercial vehicle operator and in corporate aviation. As such, Justin often finds himself representing clients involved in accidents and recovery in the transportation industry.

Justin attended undergraduate at Indiana University and law school at Indiana University Indianapolis. In both undergraduate as well as law school, Justin spent significant amounts of this time studying overseas in Europe. As such, he is fluent in both German and Norwegian. While in law school, Justin attended the University of Hamburg School of Law in Germany where he was published in The European Journal of Law Reform in 2014 for his research on the criminal prosecution of pirates on the high seas. Justin has continued his involvement internationally as he has represented clients involving contractual disputes in Germany as well as translating both legal and medical documents from German to English.

When not in the office, Justin can most likely be found participating in one of his many hobbies including aviation, cycling, snow skiing, scuba diving, triathlons, and traveling.
