About Dale
Biography
Born and raised in Martinsville, Indiana, Dale Coffey brings a no-nonsense, straight-shooting approach to the practice of law. His deep knowledge of the local environment has allowed him to provide a first rate representation to his clients in the areas of real estate law, business planning and zoning, estate planning, administrative, family law, and most recently in the area of election law. He serves as attorney to the City of Martinsville, advising its various departments on legal issues.
Dale attended undergraduate at Franklin College where he graduated magna cum laude in 1990. Dale then attended the Cooley School of Law in Michigan where he graduated third in his class and magna cum laude.
Dale is a member of both the Morgan County in Indiana State Bar Associations, a member of the Martinsville Presbyterian Church, the Morgan County Genealogy Society, the Morgan County Historical Preservation Society, the Martinsville YMCA, and is a member of the Indiana Cities and Towns.
Additionally, Dale practices Family Law and was named a 2016 Client Satisfaction Award Winner by the American Institute of Family Law Attorneys.

Cares more about role as city attorney
Be aware. This attorney will refuse your calls and refuse to let his assistant talk to you a paying client. He cares more about his duties as city attorney where he can walk all over people's rights on a grander scale. I had to fire him because a month went by and he would not talk to me. He does...

Beware of Mr Coffey
Dale may be fine for some issues but my experience using him for divorce and child support was the worst. Poor communication. Above all an attorney is there to be your advocate.
