Cares more about role as city attorney

Be aware. This attorney will refuse your calls and refuse to let his assistant talk to you a paying client. He cares more about his duties as city attorney where he can walk all over people's rights on a grander scale. I had to fire him because a month went by and he would not talk to me. He does... not care about what you are going through once he gets paid.

Beware of Mr Coffey

Dale may be fine for some issues but my experience using him for divorce and child support was the worst. Poor communication. Above all an attorney is there to be your advocate. My ex wife's attorneys ran all over him and thus me as well. Please before you think about using him for divorce or child ...support, talk with someone that has used him for those issues. I fired him and went elsewhere.

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
