Steven Peter Stoesz

Steven P Stoesz is often asked why he became a lawyer. The truth is that he never thought he would be anything else. His mother worked for lawyers when he was growing up, and he can remember falling asleep at night to the sound of her typing away at her typewriter. After he realized he wasn’t going to play college basketball at UCLA, he just assumed he would be a lawyer. When he first became a lawyer, he had his own office and did some work for another attorney who just so happened to be the President of the Indiana Pacers and the President of Market Square Arena. He remembers proofreading the rookie contracts of Reggie Miller and Rik Smits. He sat in on the meetings, which resulted in the formation of the original Indianapolis Ice hockey franchise. Steven co-founded Stoesz & Stoesz, LLC with his brother.
