Kyle Lawrence Allen

Kyle Allen joined Hunter Law Office as attorney in August of 2014. Kyle focuses on delivering a client-centered approach to estate planning, asset protection, and elder law for families seeking effective and customized legal preparation for life’s inevitable twists and turns. He was born and raised in the Indianapolis area and comes from a very hard-working, blue-collar family which he remains extremely close with to this day. The premium Kyle places on family values are what drove him to Hunter Law Office and the estate planning field.

 Kyle began practicing law in 2009, and began his career in the courtroom, starting as a Marion County Public Defender. From there he moved on to a general practice firm, and that is where he was initially exposed to estate planning, which he greatly enjoyed. After leaving the firm, Kyle focused his practice solely on all aspects related to criminal defense until 2014, when he realized it was time to shift gears and move away from the courtroom. Based upon the previous positive experiences in the estate planning field, it was his natural choice for a career move, and that is why he happily serves the clients of Hunter Law Office today. He is a member of the Indiana State Bar Association's Elder Law, Real Property, Trust and Probate Sections and an active participant in the Lawyers With Purpose organization.

 His areas of expertise include: Estate Planning, Elder Law, Asset Protection, Estate Administration, Trust Administration, Medicaid Planning, Probate, and Special Needs Planning.

 Kyle and his wife, Michelle, live downtown Indianapolis in the Lockerbie Square neighborhood. They enjoy spending time at the cabin in Brown County and at her family's farm in Knightstown. In his free time, Kyle enjoys basketball, cycling, and everything related to the Indianapolis 500.
