Biography
Attorney Laura Walker Swafford first began practicing law after graduating from Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law with her J.D. While in school, she was a member of the Dean’s Tutorial Society, President of the Student Bar Association, and an Executive Member of the Indiana International & Comparative Law Review. After graduating, she worked as a litigator with a defense law firm where she gained invaluable experience representing larger corporations.
During her years in practice, Attorney Swafford made a name for herself as a respected trial attorney, and has been recognized by Super Lawyers in their Rising Star list for 2019. She’s been published in The Indiana Lawyer and The Workplace Lawyer, A Newsletter of the ISBA Employment, Labor & Benefit Section, 2016.
She currently focuses her practice on a wide array of personal injury cases, including car accidents, construction accidents, trucking accidents, slip and fall accidents, civil rights violations, and wrongful death. Attorney Swafford uses her experience working for big corporations to advocate on behalf of the wrongfully injured in order to secure the best possible outcome for her clients. She is passionate about fighting for the rights of the injured and has a competitive drive in and out of the courtroom.
