Joshua Reid Hains

An Indiana native, Joshua R. Hains has been part of the family law community since 2006.

Prior to practicing family law in Carmel, Indiana, Joshua R. Hains attended Wittenberg University in Springfield, Ohio. While at Wittenberg, he played soccer for the Tigers from 1999 through 2002 and was an active member of Beta Theta Pi. On May 17, 2003, Joshua R. Hains graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and a minor in Psychology.

After graduating from Wittenberg, Attorney Hains attended Valparaiso University School of Law and received his Juris Doctor degree in 2006. While at Valparaiso, he received course honors for Criminal Procedure: Investigations and was a member of the law school’s intramural soccer championship team.

On October 20, 2006, Joshua R. Hains was admitted to the Indiana State Bar, United States District Courts for Southern and Northern Indiana.

Since his admittance to the Indiana State Bar, Attorney Hains has represented clients throughout the State of Indiana in family law, civil matters and federal criminal prosecutions. In 2016, Joshua R. Hains founded Hains Law, LLC to provide clients with comprehensive family law representation.

Joshua R. Hains focuses his Carmel family law practice on all aspects of family law, including divorce, child custody, parenting time/visitation, child support, emancipation, adoption, paternity, guardianship, spousal maintenance, pre- and post-nuptial agreements, and protective orders. He has the experience to resolve family law matters through agreement, mediation and trial. In addition, he is able to leverage his past business and criminal law experience to provide his Carmel family law clients with the best possible outcome for themselves and their families.
