Roland Byard Wilson III

I hired Roland back in January 2026, gave him a $1500 retainer. Sent tons of evidence for my case. He initially told me it would be an in person 1.5 hour hearing March 31, 2026. I never heard from Roland until 2 weeks before the hearing asking me if I could push the hearing back due to a scheduling c...onflict. I did not agree to push back. I had left messages through the portal and never got a response. Then his wife which is his paralegal tells me we need to schedule a zoom meeting 10 days before the trial on a Saturday at 2pm. She said I would get the zoom link the morning of. 2pm comes no zoom link was ever sent. I called and she answers still sleep at 2pm in the afternoon. Roland knew nothing about the meeting. And rescheduled. We finally had our zoom meeting 6 days before the hearing. He told me he would go over the evidence and have me look over what he thought would benefit the case before he submits it to the court and that since the hearing was so close I was his priority and don't hesitate to contact him. He also told me to send my witnesses information. I submitted my witnesses list via email, text and through the portal asking him to confirm that he received it and also told him I never received the evidence he was going to submit to the court. He not once replied. Fast forward the hearing. The judge had no record of my witness and no evidence was ever submitted to the court. I got scammed out of $1500 for paperwork because he knew nothing about my case and definitely did not defend me at the hearing. He told me it was set for 1.5 hours. The hearing was over in 22 minutes. Then he texts me to say I will receive a final bill. I went over my retainer. I literally only spoke with this man 3 times about my case. No longer than 15 mins total. I filed a complaint with the state. There has to be a way to stop this criminal. I will do EVERYTHING in my power to see that he is held accountable for screwing over ppl continously.

I paid him 8000 dollars for a case with dcs he told me I had a law suit and he was filing paperwork. He never filed paperwork for lawsuit. I am the one that fought in court for my daughter not him I got my daughter back and my case closed out. I asked repeatedly about the lawsuit because he said ther...e was a statue of limitations on it but he never filed so I kept contacting his paralegal about what was going on with my lawsuit or the return of some of my money and he just kept putting me off and never returning my calls then today I receive a paper from the courts saying he removed himself from my case. He is stealing from the poor people to make himself rich it's not fair he is not a professional he is all talk and no show I would not recommend him to anyone and anyone that reads this we should all come together and get rid of his law firm all together. He just keeps stealing from people just read most of the other reviews thank you

Don’t waste your time or money. Very unprofessional and doesn’t deliver on his promises. All talk in the beginning and once he has your money you can’t hardly get ahold of him or his staff. They do not return phone calls or emails! If I was lucky to get him on the phone, he wasn’t prepared and di...dn’t know the facts of my case. Didn’t even show up for one court appearance. He dropped my case without any notification. Very sad when you are depending on someone with your life.
