Rude and nasty

Doesn't give two caps about your case will do everything opposite of what you want used him a few months ago and super disappointed definitely not getting my 500 back

Run and don't look back!!!

I wish I had done more research, felt like he was working for everyone but me. Gave no guidance, was rude at every meeting, talked down to me, did not fight for anything I wanted, only advice he gave was to end my divorce case and return to the relationship. Over charged for what he did and under del...ivered.

Lazy!

Absolutely no help at all and very rude when trying to speak with him regarding your case. This man does not care about helping you! I'd give 0 stars if I could

Terrible

He was absolutely no help. He talked me into agreeing to things regarding custody because he didn't want to do any work. I paid $2000 for nothing except for him to sit down. Huge waste of money, and now it's costing me more to go back to court with a new lawyer. Big mistake on my behalf.

would not recommend

Howard Elliot buddied with my husband's lawyer and did no work. Joked around. Went to coffee before court. Then after wasting so much time he said there was nothing he could do with the case. I fired him right there and won my case myself. $500 retainer fee down the drain. You get what you pay for ri...ght?

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
