Neglectful, arrogant and lies.

I hired Alan for my divorce attorney while separating from my abusive husband. My ex-husband had many police arrests, reports, and I had many pictures of the abuse against me. My ex also has been diagnosed with bipolar, intermittent explosive disorder, and post traumatic stress disorder. He would... become unstable and full of rage over the smallest things. We had a then 2-year old together and I expressed to Alan many times that I was afraid for his welfare and wanted to push for supervised visitation. Alan lied to me and said that nothing could be done and I had to go with every other weekend visitation. I learned this wasn't true and he just didn't want to spend the time even though I paid him in full before our court date. He was lazy. Every time I had IMPORTANT questions and would ask for him to call me, he never would. His secretaries would "assure" me they'd let him know to call, but when I asked why he never would call me back to answer my questions he replied in a snarky manner, "you should have made an appointment". Whenever I expressed concern for my son being with his abusive father he would act smug, shrug his shoulders with a smile on his face and act like it was no big deal and that he didn't care. He was the first lawyer I ever had to use so I allowed him to treat me this way. I had a horrible experience with him because his arrogance and by him doing as little as possible my son ended up with his father and came home with several contusions from his legs, his private area, all the way up to his stomach. I spoke to CPS and another attorney about Mr. Foster and they too were disgusted by his actions. He does what he wants to do no matter the situation. He takes your money and does nothing for you. He also lied to me and said that it was a "new law" that the father is the one that gets to file taxes on the child every year so he gave my ex-husband the right to claim our son on his taxes instead of me which is not right since I have provide a home which I owe a mortgage on, utilities, clothing, and food for my son. My ex-husband hasn't provided anything for him at all. Mr. Foster does more for the person that doesn't pay him than he does for the one that does. He's a horrible person...
