Met with Mr. Cole regarding two issues -- a contractual agreement and probating an estate. Delivered all requested materials within 48 hours of the consultation. Did not receive the fee agreement until more than 4 weeks after the consultation even after two phone calls and a personal visit to the o...ffice. Once I did receive the fee agreement, I again tried calling him twice and stopped in again regarding clarification on the fee agreement. It was drafted to address only one of the two issues. During the second follow up call, his assistant informed me Mr. Cole did not feel it was appropriate for him to draft the contractual agreement since it would be used out of state in Georgia. This was six weeks after the consultation when he never mentioned any concern over drafting the agreement during the consultation. During the in-person visit to his office, the staff was quick to push for a signed fee agreement and payment of the waiver. I explained my concerns over lack of communication and asked Mr. Cole to call me within 24 hours, which he did not. The lack of timely communication over a two month period led me to decide on retaining other counsel. Given the poor service provided, I cannot recommend him for any legal work.
