Child Custody Paternity Testing

Girlfriend (Petitioner / Client) and Boyfriend (Respondent) temporarily raised infant from birth to 6 months old. Respondent without Petitioner's permission placed his name on birth certificate. Aft ... er a break-up, Petitioner moved 200 miles away. Petitioner was involved in an auto accident and while in hospital, Respondent took child without permission, but had right due to birth certificate. I filed an emergency order seeking custody and paternity test. Respondent failed to take test numerous times. Respondent was ordered by the court to take test or forfeit custody. Respondent took test which showed he was not the father.
