Cynthia concentrates her legal practice in the areas of municipal law, commercial and commercial real estate, zoning, commercial transactions, corporate law, and commercial litigation. Cynthia has extensive background and experience in negotiating and structuring large scale commercial transactions including commercial and residential condominiums, negotiating loan transactions, drafting complex real estate documents, among many other commercial transactions. Cynthia also has broad experience in public sector law. In such capacity, Cynthia drafts municipal resolutions, ordinances, contracts, and similar legal documents. In addition to transactional law, Cynthia has extensive litigation experience in the areas of municipal and real estate/title law. Cynthia represents her clients in complex pieces of litigation including but not limited to appropriations, taxpayer suits, constitutional challenges, initiative and referendum petitions, annexations, title disputes, foreclosure actions, and administrative appeals. Cynthia serves a counsel in appellate cases throughout the state of Ohio. She also handles adjudicative proceedings, from local boards of zoning appeal to the Supreme Court of Ohio. Cynthia received her undergraduate degree in Marketing in 1988 and her Juris Doctorate in 1991 from the University of Cincinnati. Cynthia was admitted to the Ohio Bar and U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Ohio in 1991 and to the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Ohio in 2000.
