Jennifer Suzanne Delaplane

I am a local Attorney whom owns and staffs my own private practice.  My first degree was a B.S. in Early Elementary Education.  Over the years I have observed many of our local agencies and programs suffer from the economy and have seen the loss of many programs, of which in my professional and personal opinion, were vital to the community and families.  

 

Education, Growth, and Family Support and Structure are important issues for me.  As part of my on-going duties as an Attorney and Guardian ad Litem I work closely and rely upon all of our local family focused agencies and professionals and am in frequent contact with Piqua Parents as Teachers, Miami-County Abuse Shelter, Corinns Way, Partners in Hope, Riverside, Help-Me-Grow, Childrens Services, and a host of other agencies, food pantries, physicians and educators.  Being of a civic mind and background I have joined the board for Corinns Way, developed a youth teenage leadership program, which volunteers and supports our local community agencies and projects for Miami County, through 4-H (United 4-H Teens) of which I am the main Advisor, and I donate countless hours PRO-BONO to individuals so that they may also have access to legal assistance, despite finances, when it is child-related.
