Find another Attorney

I hired Mr. Olden for my disability case and he literally did no work on it. It took two years to get to the hearing date and he called 7 days from the court date to say the case wasn't worth it and to basically find another attorney or drop the case. He had all medical records and information for... the case long before the hearing date, but he thought it was acceptable to call a week before the hearing. He made the point to say he stays very busy and has lots of other clients and cases basically meaning he didn't need my case. Also he mentioned money and how he likes to win and get paid. I would highly recommend not going to this attorney. He can be very rude and if my case was not of any value to him I should have been told much sooner and not a week before my hearing date. It took over two years of waiting to get a hearing date and I know attorneys typically collect all information and medical records needed long before the actual date. I asked why I didn't hear anything sooner for the case and he asked if it would have made a difference rudely. Absolutely. You don't have a person wait over two years for a disability hearing to only be told a week out from their court date that their case is useless to you. It's extremely unprofessional. Also along the way speaking to his receptionist who I spoke with many times, they stated they thought we had a good case and they didn't see any reason why the case would be denied. Also if it was denied they would appeal it. There was misleading information with my case on top of an attorney who did no work until a week out on my case. Save yourself the trouble and find someone who is caring and not just looking for a paycheck in their pocket.

He won my case

Steve took my case after I had been denied when I applied for disability on my own in Jan. 2012. My case was not an easy one to prove, I have several conditions and did not have the money to go to the specialists as needed. He helped me through the hearing process, kept me posted every time he did an...ything regarding my case, and I just got the call from him this week that the judge is approving me. He got me back pay for 3 years and my benefits. He was understanding with my social anxiety, I only had to make 1 trip to his office and he paid for all medical records and cost until my case was won. I would highly recommend him. Thanks Steve Olden.

An excellent choice for social security disability

Mr Olden was most supportive and helpful during what amounted to an arduous process (as any SS dealings would be, by definition in my view). He has an encouraging demeanor and a soothing, calm voice which he had to employ more than once to keep me calmed down to avoid a panic. He handled all medica...l record gathering and all legal papers knowledgeably and professionally and he guided me through and prepared me for the hearing very patiently which gave me confidence during that trial. I recommend him highly.

Disability

Mr.Olden is a professional in every since of the word. Mr.Olden kept us informed every step of the way. He explained the process very carefully and left nothing to chance. Mr. Olden and his staff were always prepared and I felt they did an excellent job of explaining what to expect and even what not... to expect. Mr. Olden had my complete confidence and trust. I would recommend him without hesitation. Mr. Olden really cares about his clients!
