Ms. Lawrence is an AV rated attorney who has committed her practice to helping individuals and their families who have been injured throughout the Commonwealth of Kentucky and the State of Ohio. Her practice is primarily devoted to those injured as a result of medical negligence. Ms. Lawrence’s area of practice focuses on medical malpractice, birth injuries, traumatic brain injury, spinal cord injury and paralysis, wrongful death, and personal injury. She has been selected the last several years by Super Lawyers as a Rising Star – an award given to the top 2.5% of attorneys under the age of 40.
Ms. Lawrence has successfully litigated and settled cases involving birth injuries, spinal cord injuries, paralysis, anesthesia errors and other types of medical negligence. She truly believes in advocating for those who have been injured by the negligent conduct of others. Ms. Lawrence is a compassionate yet tough advocate for children, individuals and their families.
Ms. Lawrence attended the University of Cincinnati as an undergraduate where she obtained a B.A. in Communication with a minor in Public Relations. While at the University of Cincinnati, Ms. Lawrence interned in New York City for Viacom Entertainment. Upon graduation, Ms. Lawrence attended law school at Northern Kentucky University – Salmon P. Chase College of Law. While attending Chase, she participated in the nationally recognized Trial and Moot Court competition teams. As one of a select few students at Chase, Ms. Lawrence was admitted into the National Order of Barristers, a national honors society for recognition for her excellence and skill in trial advocacy.
Ms. Lawrence currently serves as the Content Editor for the Professional Negligence Section of the American Association for Justice. She has also been selected by her peers to serve on the Board of Trustees for the Ohio Association for Justice (OAJ), an Ohio organization of attorneys that fight to preserve the civil justice system. Ms. Lawrence currently serves on the Executive Committee of the Salmon P. Chase Inn of Court as Treasurer and the Alumni Board of Salmon P. Chase College of Law. She was again selected by her peers to serve on the American Association of Justice’s Board of Governors and currently sits on the board as a Revitalization Member.
Ms. Lawrence grew up in Cincinnati, Ohio and has been a resident of the area for over thirty years. Ms. Lawrence is active in both the Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky communities both with legal and pro bono organizations. She handles a variety of pro bono cases assisting the Volunteer Lawyers Project in Cincinnati handling cases in the areas of domestic relations and probate. She is also the Chair of the Tomorrow’s Leaders Young Professional Board of the Cincinnati Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. Additionally, Ms. Lawrence has devoted her time speaking to local high school students about the dangers of distracted driving through the End Distracted Driving program.
Ms. Lawrence resides in Anderson with her husband Grady and sons Jack and Benny. She enjoys traveling, watching movies and spending time with her family outside of work.
