The Lyon Firm is proud to serve individuals and small businesses in Cincinnati, the State of Ohio, the Commonwealth of Kentucky and, when permitted, national clients. Founded on the principles of protecting consumers and public health through civil action, Joe Lyon opened the Lyon Firm in the fall of 2006 focusing his practice on helping individuals in the areas of product liability, pharmaceutical and medical device litigation, medical malpractice, and general personal injury. Joe has now expanded his practice to assist small companies and individuals in commercial business disputes, consumer class actions, as well as Veterans suffering PTSD, and toxic exposure injuries.
Joe is rated a 10/10 by AVVO and has been selected as a Top 100 Trial Lawyer in Ohio by The National Trial Lawyer Association. Furthermore, his peers have selected him as a “Rising Star” in Ohio Super Lawyers in 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, and 2016. In 12 years of practice, Joe has resolved numerous cases for seven and six figure settlements, and has represented over a thousand national clients in mass tort litigation. Joe has published and lectured locally and nationally on a variety of personal injury and mass tort issues. Most recently, he has lectured in Columbus to the New Lawyers Program and in San Diego, Louisville, and Baltimore American Association for Justice events on Testosterone Replacement Therapy Litigation (“TRT”). He is serving as the co-chair for the AAJ TRT Litigation Group. Joe is also the past chair for the Ohio Association for Justice Product Liability Section.

I practice in the area of mass torts for pharmaceutical and medical device cases, as well as environmental toxic exposure. I also handle individual product cases involving hip and knee revisions and automobile crashworthiness and defects.
