Unprofessional and careless

This is a terrible lawyer who completely wasted my time. He took my case and lied about mailing documents to the company I was suing, claiming they had a 21-day deadline. Thirty days later, when I followed up, he admitted he never mailed anything and blamed it on his secretary. Because of him, I had ...to wait another 30 days. When he finally sent me a reply from the other party, I responded immediately, and he ignored me for weeks. When I asked confused if he was taking the case seriously, he suddenly said he was withdrawing, citing vague “client-lawyer compatibility” issues—total nonsense. Every time I tried to communicate, he gave excuses, forgot paperwork, or simply didn’t respond. On top of that, during my first scheduled in-person meeting, he left me waiting in the office while he ran off to do something else. His negligence, laziness, and dishonesty have not only wasted my time but also made it harder to find another lawyer to take over my case. He is careless, unreliable, and completely unprofessional. Avoid him at all costs.

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
