Kaitlyn Leigh Galloway Rice

I am a hardworking and determined attorney who desires to help others navigate through our complicated legal system to obtain to the benefits they deserve. I am passionate about helping others; especially those who have worked hard all of their life and are now injured and unable to work. Before going to law school, I earned my Bachelor of Arts degree in French Language and Literature and Political Science at Purdue University. I earned my J.D. from Chase College of Law, and was sworn in as a licensed attorney in the State of Ohio in 2013. 

As a law clerk at David W. Kapor & Associates for two and a half years, I learned the ins and outs of the administrative process behind a Social Security Disability claim. Upon being sworn in as a licensed attorney in the State of Ohio, I became an Associate Attorney at David W. Kapor & Associates, advocating for claimants throughout the Social Security Disability process. I have experience representing claimants at both the Hearing level and Appeals Council.

I am a member of the Cincinnati Bar Association and the Cincinnati Bar Association – Social Security Committee. I am a member of the Ohio State Bar Association and I belong to the National Organization of Social Security Claimant’s Representatives.

While in law school,I volunteered with Northern Kentucky Teen Court and served as a judge for the American Mock Trial Regional Tournament. I was selected to be an intern for the Indiana Senate during its' 2009-2010 legislative session. After graduating from Purdue, I also interned for the Indiana Chamber of Commerce.

In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my husband, a veteran of the United States Marine Corps who served two tours of duty in Iraq during Operation Iraqi Freedom. I also enjoy playing with my two rescue dogs. I like to travel to upstate New York in the summertime to relax on Lake Ontario. I also enjoy spending time with my family, downhill skiing, the Cincinnati Reds, and college basketball.
