Did not finish the job....

Would not recommend hiring Mr. Nolan for representation. Expectations when hiring an attorney is that your attorney will represent you through the full process or your case, file & complete necessary paperwork through the courts & those involved. This is not the experience we had. Paid Mr. Nolan for... his services & he has decided not to complete the process. Having to finish it on our own (filing paperwork, sending forms & trying to figure out the system which is confusing when you are not an attorney. What is the point of hiring & paying an attorney to have to do this in the end. Seemed like he had better cases to deal w/ so dropped our case in the middle of the process. Said he could not proceed but found out he lied and had received information that could have permitted him to finish the process. When called to inform him the information he needed was available still failed to return phone call. He went to court & won so the hard part was over, just had to file & finish sending notices to parties involved. Attorneys are too expensive to use one that will not be there for you start to finish!

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
