Liar

I had him as a public defender and took my case to trial. I wanted a jury but Tim promised me 100% that the judge was dismissing my case and to waive a jury and try the case to the judge guarateeing I would be released that day. I got convicted and did 6 years in prison because of this piece of garba...ge.

I would rate him a ZERO if I could. Or negative.

Timothy Cutcher was my public defender in Cincinnati in 2015. He has been an attorney for quite a while, so I assumed it was a good thing to have him represent me. Being naive to the legal system, I trusted him to be on my side, and do what was best for me. This, however, was the biggest mistake I co...uld've made. He duped into signing an "open" plea, stating that I really didn't have another choice. I signed it, unfortunately, because I out my trust in him. After speaking with family and friends, I realized what a mistake it was. I was embarrassed that I didn't know better. I tried to fire him, and instead, it just pissed the judge off, and he ended up representing me until the end, much to my dismay. The whole time I was in the HCJC (which was about 4 1/2 months), he told me that I would get probation. I ended up getting 2 years DOC, thanks to the OPEN PLEA, and my attorney. I am completely disappointed and disgusted with his representation, and would NEVER, EVER, EVER recommend him to ANYONE. Do not hire him and let him to this to you!!!

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
