Christopher Michael Hudak

I would not recommend Christopher M. Hudak, Attorney Registration No. 90134, based on my experience. At the time, Mr. Hudak was working for Cordell & Cordell. On the morning of my domestic-relations hearing in February 2026, while we were sitting in the courthouse waiting area, Mr. Hudak told me h...e was going to introduce himself to opposing counsel. When he returned, he told me that opposing counsel was dismissing the allegations. I specifically asked why they would wait until the last minute to dismiss the allegations and Chris said opposing counsel had not given a reason. I specifically asked whether I could insist on proceeding with the hearing. Mr. Hudak told me there was no way for me to force the hearing to proceed. Mr. Hudak and opposing counsel then left the waiting area to prepare documents. Based on what Mr. Hudak had told me, I understood that they were preparing dismissal paperwork. Instead, I was presented with an agreed entry. Mr. Hudak described the document to me as a standard no-contact agreement used in contested situations like mine. I was not told that signing the agreed entry would itself be the mechanism used to resolve the matter. Something didn’t feel right and over the next couple weeks I began researching the matter and learned that I might have been entitled to proceed with a hearing. At that point, I began searching for new counsel. After meeting with other attorneys and discussing what had occurred, I came to understand that the purpose and legal effect of the agreed entry were materially different from what I understood based on Mr. Hudak’s explanation before I signed it. In my view, I was materially misled about what I was signing and the consequences of doing so. I believe signing the agreed entry negatively affected my position in the matter and limited the options I understood were available to me. This experience caused me to lose confidence in the representation I received. Based on my personal experience, I would not recommend Christopher M. Hudak.
