First things first, Mr Koop made an "oral agreement" with my exwifes lawyer that I never got paid on. Yes, after all said and done , walking out of the courthouse I was owed money from ex that was not settled, the two lawyers made an oral agreement that I would be paid x amount of dollars within thi...rty days. Well since I could not afford to pay my lawyer he dropped me. 30 days go by and I went to collect the money and my ex said where is the contract? and by the way have your lawyer send it to mine since you dont have one! So i did call Mr Koop and he said if you can give me a retainer I can help you? It was pulling teeth to try to get him to tell me it was an oral agreement.The amount of money I would have to pay him would be over the amount that was owed to me. Yes never recieved the money.I would think he would say , Hey ill send off a letter to her lawyer, sorry about this, but no, not even how are things going ? Nothing ,but wanting my money! Also Mr Koop was not prepared for a witness ,this played a huge part in my case and we could not discredit her because we were not prepared, Mr Koop was asking me what to ask the witness.we got blown out of the water. I can go on and on but one thing that was the kicker when I should of fired him was when I was in his lobby waiting ,the other lawyer came in and they started talking sports , basketball baseball , laughing it up joking around. I couldnt beleive it , this was going on in front of me. So we entered into two different rooms that were right next to each other, 45 min later nothing has happened because my ex and lawyer decided to talk there before coming to his building.I was paying to sit there for nothing, finally it started and all I could here was Chad going in and out of rooms laughing with the other attorney about ? They have very thin walls at Cordell Cordell ,Cincinnati office btw. I should of left and got up right there and fired him. I also have emails sent to mefrom Chad from other lawyer,the meassage would start off by , Hey Chad, bet your glad to be back in the office from your trip to Fla... Just not professional in my standards.I would not suggest this lawyer from Cordell Cordell, I paid thousands and thousands and got nothing. There are alot of things that I missed about the final decree that he should of seen and thought about before agreeing to anything. I put 5 stars on keep me informed, and responsive because thats one way he jacked up the bill. For him not being prepared i have lost about everything including my children... yeah few more things my ex moved to another state against court orders and got away with it because we again were not prepared....

Integrity is the best way of describing Chad and his team of associates that helped us on our case , Chad is a strong and knowledgeable Attorney , when speaking to Chad about my case he truly listened to what I was saying and what I was asking of his services , after a short time into our f...irst conversation I felt more like I was talking to a friend that cared about my sons wellbeing,, NOT just another attorney looking to make a quick buck ,Chad took the time to explain how family law works and Chad spoke to me not at me , after leaving his office I knew I had an uphill battle but,, I knew I made the right choice in hiring Chad and his tem. Throughout the entire process his team made me feel welcome when I was at the office and when on the phone they did not try to rush to get off the phone,, instead they all listened and I could tell they truly cared .,Seems nowadays most attorneys and their staff just want your money and do not care about your needs and emotional ride your on during a child custody case ,,,,,,,,,Not the case with Chad and his team THEY TRULY CARE and want to help in every way possible to help make the process go as easy as can be. Because of all the efforts and wisdom and compassion of Chad and Megan all the rest of the associates I now have custody of my son , and together we give an A1+ rating To Chad Koop and highly recommend them to anyone that needs to have exceptional Family Law Attorney in their corner when fighting for rights for their time and or custody of their Children
