Britt went above and beyond for us during our custody battle. She was able to make sure we got everything we wanted and more. She never hesitated in being blunt with us regarding what we should expect and never let us down. We are so incredibly sad to see her closing her practice. She is becoming a j...udge and we know she will be just as fantastic at that as she was standing by our side during one of the most stressful times of our lives.

I cannot emphasize the degree of harm she did to our case. We trusted her to abide by the ethical standards of her profession and advise me to the best of her knowledge. Where there were areas she was inexperienced or ignorant, I expected her to consult with experts and advise me accordingly as she... is required to. Instead, she "advised" me based on her bias and alarmingly limited experience, completely ignoring the best practices and statutes designed to protect us and ensure our rights were being honored. If she had done the absolute minimum on my case, I would have had a better outcome but I now know she did not even do that. We continue to suffer the consequences of her inaction and deceptive practices on our case. She lied in writing and verbally to other lawyers, professionals and the Court about several matters, instead of admitting she had not reviewed the documents, requested any discovery or been in contact with us about critical matters. While she would go weeks without replying to time sensitive emails, telling us she had family emergencies, she was running for local office. I later heard from friends she was at fundraising events during times she said she had "family emergencies". I did not learn the extent of her lies until months after she was off my case. She gives her profession a bad name. Her role as a lawyer and volunteer is not done to serve her clients, but to serve her personal platform. Stay away and protect yourself from the harm she will cause your case, especially if you have children. There are ethical lawyers who do care. She is not one of them.
