Mr. Ewald was a great help in managing my personal injury claim due to an auto accident which happened at an extremely busy time of day resulting in no one willing to stop or come forward as witnesses. I hired this lawyer due to an accident. He never called to inform me about any updates the whole year and a half I had him for. He didn't even try to get me the most money possible without bringing up a lawsuit over and over where I would have to pay him another 7% of the money I didn't get much of a...s it was. I always had to contact him for any updates. Never once did I get a call from him to let me know what was going on. There would be months that went by that I wouldn't hear a word from him so I would call him and of course he WOULD HAVE updates for me that he should've called me about but he didn't. I paid this man 33% out of my puny settlement. He got almost half of my money that didn't go to my bills. I think it's sad that someone can take advantage of people in this way and get away with it so I am making sure I let others know about him that may be thinking of choosing him. I know it hasn't just been me he has done this too also. My mother in law and my mother were in the car with me during the accident and they hired him as well and he treated them the same; even my mother who had extensive injuries, he has never called thus far, a year and a half after the accident. He never calls to ask how things are going, nothing. I definately do not recommend this lawyer to anyone. If you want someone who shows progress, shows a caring side, and works for YOU, don't go for this one.
