Douglas Dewayne Adkins

I grew up in Vandalia Ohio, raised a family and served as a City Council member and Vice Mayor while living there.

I completed my bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Cincinnati. After graduation, I spent 15 years in business operations management for a variety of businesses. I was always successful, but I always felt that something was missing in my career.

So, at age 37, I went back to Law School at the University of Dayton, graduating with honors in 2003. Since law school, I have been a criminal prosecutor, I have worked with nonprofits to assist the poor in housing, recreation, and access to needed services. I’ve overseen a public housing agency, golf course, transit system, municipal building, planning and zoning functions, and I have been a City Manager.

I’ve been divorced. I’ve raised children as a single dad and have been blessed with grandchildren. I’ve been fired during my working years.

All of these events have given me the life and professional experience to handle a wide range of legal issues and to help you navigate your situation, while understanding the emotional and financial impacts created when life's biggest challenges happen.
