Richard Allen Hyde

I was born and raised in Hamilton, Ohio.  I grew up on the Knob, next to a trailer park, which is an area located on the East Side of Hamilton, Ohio.  My father was in law enforcement and my mother stayed at home to raise my three other siblings.  I went to Fairfield High School then on to Triton College in Rivergrove, Illinois.  After getting my Associates Degree from Triton College I enrolled at Miami University in Oxford, Ohio.  I graduated with a Public Administrations Degree in 1986 but I always knew that I was going to be an attorney.  I enrolled immediately in law school and I was lucky enough to get into the University of Toledo College of Law.  In 1989 I graduated from Law School Magna Cum Laude (graduating rank of 6 out of 110), passed the bar exam on the first try and started working as an assistant prosecuting attorney for John F. Holcomb, Butler County Prosecuting Attorney.  I was a professional prosecutor who also maintained a private law practice where I practice law in areas not involving the State of Ohio.  My private law practice was with John F. Holcomb who taught me how to practice law.  During my career as a prosecutor I tried well over 100 jury trials and I only lost 2.  I tried cases involving Aggravated Murder, Murder, Voluntary Manslaughter, Involuntary Manslaughter, Aggravated Vehicular Homicide, Rape, Robbery, Burglary, Kidnapping etc.  Eventually, I was named the Chief of the Felony Criminal Division of the Butler County Prosecutor's Office.  In 2001 I left the prosecutor's office so that I could focus 100% of my time on my private practice clients.  Since 2001 our office has grown and we have expanded our practice.  We get great results for our clients.  We are dedicated, hardworking and above all else,  WE HATE TO LOSE.
