Thank you

I cannot express the gratitude I have for Chris Coleridge; he helped me out when I needed someone to represent me in my case and went above and beyond! He was very upfront and honest about what i could expect and blew that out of the water with how much he helped me. With becoming a new father and wo...rrying about the outcome of my case he was amazing, I could not have asked for a better lawyer! Thank you so much!

Best Criminal Defense Attorney in Canton Ohio - Chris Coleridge Fought for My Future

I was in one of the most terrifying moments of my life when I found myself facing serious felony charges in Stark County, Ohio. Everything happened so fast—one moment I was going about my normal routine in Canton, and the next the police were at my door, staring down the possibility of losing my job,... my reputation, and years of my freedom. I had never been in trouble with the law before, and the Ohio criminal justice system felt like a maze designed to crush people like me. Friends told me to hire any lawyer and take the prosecutor’s deal, but something in my gut said I needed someone who would actually fight. That’s when I turned to Avvo searching for the best criminal defense attorney in Canton, Ohio. After reading dozens of reviews across Northeast Ohio, Chris Coleridge at Coleridge Law Office stood out. His profile showed consistent 5-star ratings from Stark County clients, so I picked up the phone. From that very first call, I could tell Chris Coleridge was different from every other Ohio lawyer. He asked smart, pointed questions that showed how clever and strategic he is. During our consultation at his office on Central Plaza in Canton, he listened without judgment and laid out a clear roadmap. What impressed me most was how he explained Ohio law in plain English while showing a powerful command of the statutes, local rules, and courtroom procedures. He truly understands the Ohio courts—he knew the judges in Stark County Court of Common Pleas, the tendencies of Canton prosecutors, and exactly how the system works from arraignment through trial. What separated Chris from the pack was his refusal to take the easy road. Other attorneys pushed quick plea deals and told me to placate the prosecutor. Chris looked me in the eye and said, “We’re not here to roll over. We’re going to stand up for your rights and fight for the best possible outcome.” He was ready to litigate aggressively. That mindset—litigation over placating—gave me hope. Chris is a powerful strategist who anticipates every move. He mapped out every possible play by the state, found weaknesses in the evidence, and built a smart, relentless defense. We filed detailed motions to suppress and prepared cross-examinations that held up in an Ohio courtroom. Throughout pretrial hearings in Stark County, he stayed one step ahead and protected my constitutional rights. In the end, the preparation paid off. Thanks to Chris Coleridge’s expertise, the charges were dramatically reduced, several counts were dismissed, and I walked out of the Stark County courthouse with my future intact. It was the direct result of having a smart, clever attorney who knows how to navigate the Ohio courts and refuses to placate at the expense of my rights. You truly get what you pay for. Chris’s representation was worth every penny. Coleridge Law Office treats clients like people who deserve aggressive, intelligent advocacy. I have already recommended Chris Coleridge to two friends—one facing a DUI/OVI matter and another with family law issues—and both had the same experience: a lawyer who fights intelligently and strategically for the best possible outcome. Whether you need a Canton Ohio criminal defense attorney, divorce and custody help in Northeast Ohio, or any matter requiring someone who truly understands the local courts, Chris is the attorney you want. If you’re facing serious charges, a tough family law battle, or any legal fight in Ohio right now, stop scrolling and take action today. Don’t settle for a lawyer who just wants a quick plea. Call Chris Coleridge at Coleridge Law Office in Canton immediately and schedule your consultation. Your rights, freedom, and future are on the line—Chris delivers the powerful, strategic representation that gets the best possible outcome. I did exactly that, and it changed everything. You get what you pay for with Chris: smart, clever advocacy that always fights to win. Highly recommend—five stars, no hesitation.

NOT GUILTY!

“NOT GUILTY!” Those two words, repeated multiple times, sent waves of relief through my body, mind and spirit as I sat in the courtroom facing multiple years in prison, accused of multiple counts of felony menacing by stalking. Things I knew I did not do. To me, they were the two most beautiful ...words in the English language. My name is Kenneth E. Swickard. I retired from the United States Air Force as a Master Sergeant with over 24 years active duty and a retired Licensed Independent Chemical Dependency Counselor with a Clinical Supervision endorsement. I found myself in this position due to a particularly unpleasant divorce instigated by my, now, ex-wife. I will spare the dirty details and build up, to get to the point of this review. The lawyer responsible for my hearing those delicious, freeing words is Christopher Coleridge of Coleridge Law! When one has written for Generals, one learns to be brief, concise and powerful in presentation. I have no problem being concise and powerful when it comes to Attorney Coleridge, it is the “brief” part which is most difficult, as there is much more I can say beyond what you read from here forward. In my case, Attorney Coleridge, with laser-like precision, eviscerated the State’s case, causing my accuser’s accusations, composure and credibility to evaporate while on the stand. His pointed cross examination of the police detective resulted in a ten-year police veteran admitting, multiple times, under oath, that he did not conduct a proper investigation. Further evidence? By my count, it took the jury less than 30 minutes to come to a verdict on multiple counts of felony by stalking, one of quickest verdicts in the recent history of the Stark County Common Pleas Court. I have more, but, to me, perhaps the most telling evidence of Attorney Coleridge’s excellence is, both times I was in jail, whenever anyone in my pod asked, “Who is your lawyer?” When I said,”Coleridge.”, to a man, they all said, “Oh, he’s GOOD! You’re all good!” This is high praise, indeed, and they were all correct! A good review covers all aspects of service. I have no complaints. However, when I first began working with Attorney Coleridge, I expected more frequent communication and was concerned we were not communicating enough. I soon learned this is due to several reasons. One, he is a very busy man. I was standing with him once for about five minutes. In that five minutes, he received 25 texts, and he said this is normal. Two, he did not contact me when he did not need to, which saves me money and him time. If you do not hear from him, do not worry, he is on your case and as time approaches, contacts will increase and your defense will solidify. In summary, should you find yourself in the sights of a local prosecutor, for either a misdemeanor or felony charge, I highly recommend your VERY FIRST call be to Attorney Coleridge and his team of professionals. Especially if “NOT GUILTY!” are the two words you most desperately want to hear.
