After failed attempts of hiring attorneys from out of town to represent me in a gross attempt at legal kidnapping by the local branch of CPS I was left with retaining Nicole. As other attorneys will tell you the local juvenile/family court system is jaded and you are guilty until proven otherwise ar...ound here. I was looking for an attorney who would stand up for me and my children, who would fight for the abuse being done to US. I was terribly disappointed. I was mocked in court, told by the prosecution that while THEY let my children "rot away in foster care"(their words not mine)"I lived in the lap of luxury"; because I came to court dressed respectfully. There were insane allegations thrown around...all while Nicole sat there with her head down like a scolded child too terrified to speak. I kept asking "are you going to say or do ANYTHING?!". She NEVER did. She NEVER filed anything on our behalf, never called any witnesses on our behalf, never did any research on our behalf, never even called out the blatant perjury and constitutional violations that a first year law school student would've pushed. I was appalled. I think at least this is why she never asked for the remainder of her payment. I eventually gave up on asking her to attend any meetings etc and just attended them by myself. Eventually the children were returned home. Not until after a year away from a loving mother, my daughter sustaining a broken arm/dislocated elbow and fractured wrist and severe separation anxiety fears. But hey, they've got a funding pool to keep alive. I ran into Nicole at a local court house again a few years later and for her ineptitude her ego has swelled beyond belief.
