I have been practicing Personal Injury Law since 1984 focusing originally on insurance defense and subsequently my practice transformed to handling predominately Plaintiff Personal Injury cases.  I handle Serious Auto Accidents, Wrongful Death, Motorcycle Accidents, Truck Accidents, Medical Malpractice, Litigation as well as other forms of Civil Litigation.  My background in Insurance Defense gives me an advantage over other Personal Injury attorneys because I learned firsthand how insurance companies view and evaluate cases.  

My insurance background also proves valuable in negotiating insurance subrogation claims which have become a very important aspect of Personal Injury negotiations. Subrogation claims are claims made by insurance providers who have paid medical bills on behalf of their insureds and are entitiled to be reimbursed for those payments.  I have learned that in order to negotiate an effective settlement it is extremely important to make sure that medical bills are paid as well as subrogation claims.  If these matters are not properly handled, a client's credit rating could be significantly impacted.  It is important when finalizing a claim to make sure not only a client is happy with his or her settlement, but also to confirm that there will no be long term ramifications from the event.
