Alleged reckless operation of a vehicle.

I contracted Attorney Brian Smith regarding an alleged reckless operation of a vehicle, license plate light out and expired license. The reckless operation of a vehicle was a serious charge that if I was found guilty would have been a major moving violation and put four points on my license there by ...causing my insurance to skyrocket and other possible consequences. Once I hired Brian he took care of arranging the pretrial and reviewing the evidence. On the day of the pretrial he negotiated with the prosecution. Upon reviewing the evidence with the prosecution a deal was made to dismiss the reckless driving and plead guilty to a non-moving violation malfunctioning equipment (license plate light being out). I agreed and we went before the judge. As Brian was talking to the judge about the deal that was reached with the prosecution the judge was not willing to allow the deal because of new policy basically stating violation may only be reduced by 2 points for example a 4 point to 2 points or a 2 point to 0 points but not a 4 point violation to a 0 points violation. Brian then very professionally went back and forth with the judge and prosecutor who very much agreed with Brian that I had been over charged with reckless driving. The judge upon hearing the prosecutor and Brian both agreed went with their recommendation and allowed the deal of charging me with a malfunctioning equipment charge. I was very very happy with the outcome. Before the hearing ended the judge was commenting on how well and professional of a job Brian Smith had done for me and I couldn't have agreed more. I would personally highly recommend Brian Smith and if I ever need another Attorney Brian would be my first call.

Did a decent job and is affordable

My wife and I hired Brian to help out with a pretty scary legal issue. I was worried we would lose everything, but Brian got everything fixed up and squared away with just a couple of meetings and in a reasonable amount of time. It would be better to have never had to hire a lawyer in the first place..., but Brian sure made us feel a lot better while our case was going on. I’d hire him again.

Awesome attorney

I contacted Brian to represent me in a speeding matter being a truck driver and a clean driving record no points or violations at all it was devastating being moving violations mean alot when truck driving and our safety scores not to mention can lose your job he was very sincere and communicated eve...rything he would try to do although I was speeding never denied it but was not going as fast as the trooper indicated Brian worked hard and got it lowered to a no point violation during the time he answered all my questions and answered my calls or called me right back or text he was like a friend having your back his number is now on our company's wall in case any driver needs representation awesome job Brian and thank you oh and yes I will be keeping a very good eye on that speedometer thank you again
