Poor Service From Scott

Hi, I would absolutely not recommend Scott as a disability attorney to anyone. We have been working with him since January of 2021 and he was highly recommended for his services. He was absolutely awful!! We couldn't get him to respond to our emails for weeks, sometimes a month at a time and when... he did he just apologized saying he had nothing to share. What? What professional doesn't respond back promptly to the customer he is serving to let them know where they are and what's going on, even if there's not much happening. We finally decided to fire him in October 2023 and have yet to receive our medical file back or even get an email respond to the four emails I've sent since October. Unbelievable! Do not use him if you want prompt action taken on your claim and even his assistant Michelle couldn't respond to us on his behalf. I'm not sure how he stays in business with this kind of poor service. We will find an attorney that actually wants to work and make money for us and for themselves. Extremely Disappointed. Chris

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
