About Richard
Biography
I grew up in Akron, Ohio. I attended college at Bowling Green State University, graduating in 1979. I went on to law school at the University of Akron and received both my Law Degree and my Master’s Degree in Taxation in 1982. Therefore, I have been practicing law for almost 40 years and have handled thousands of cases involving the following:
Nursing Home Abuse, Wrongful Death, Personal Injury, Medical Malpractice, Legal Malpractice, Product Liability, Corporate Law, Business Related Problems, Commercial Litigation and much more.
Like all the attorneys at Slater & ZurzLLP, I am focused on getting the best results for my clients in the fastest way possible. I get those results by meticulously investigating, researching and preparing your case while aggressively pursuing it. I want to understand every detail and provide my clients with all the information and advice to make decisions that are in their best interest. By taking this approach, I am able to resolve most issues amicably and without the need for a trial. However, if a trial in a court of law is necessary, I bring extensive experience and a respected reputation as a very effective litigator with a proven track record of success.
I firmly believe that every person, no matter who you are, where you live or how much money you have is entitled to justice in our legal system. The judicial system is often times adversarial and my passion lies with helping all my clients prevail in that system.
