Attorney Christopher Esker represented me in a complex business and real estate transaction involving sale of the business and the business parcel, as well as in the employment and consulting arragment that followed that sale, and even though he was preparing for a jury trial in another matter, he made time, within 24 hours of my call, to start putting everything in motion, and all of the pieces together.
Involved in thousands of cases over two decades, I've written judicial opinions in hundreds of cases as a judicial attorney, tried cases successfully to juries, judges, magistrates and arbitration panels in federal, state, and municipal courts throughout Ohio and beyond, been involved, briefed, and argued cases in most of Ohio's appellate districts, in several federal circuit courts of appeal, including the Sixth Circuit in Cincinnati, and appeared before the United States Supreme Court.
My practice and experience includes substantial involvement with insurance issues, including the representation of insured through their insurers, direct representation of insurers in litigation, coverage issues, and insurance law in general.
My business law experience has included facilitating the buying and selling of businesses, as well as litigation relating to those issues that face business owners or those with interests in small businesses, including representing parties in partition actions under Ohio law, trust claims, and business and trust litigation.
With nearly 15 years of service to the Summit County Farm Bureau Board of Trustees, as a Board member and office, I have gained particularized knowledge in areas related to agriculture, farming, ranching, fence line and other issues particularly important to agricultural issues.
My real estate practice is limited to those matters that involve litigation and arbitration regardring real estate issues, including those touching on trusts and estates, and probate court litigation.
