This attorney allowed his mother to emotionally abuse and slander his first wife to people in the community, since he just stood by and allowed her to do it. He, himself, obviously slandered his first wife to his law school friends. This lawyer not only emotionally abused his first wife, but also phy...sically, on repeated occasions,, starting when they were engaged and she had no way to get away from him. He refused to support her, in any way, the first time she was accepted to graduate school, and he wasn't accepted to any law school yet. At that time, he said he could read between the lines of a letter from his mother. He claimed that she wanted to see them get married. To make him and his mother happy, his first wife dropped out of graduate school, and the emotional abuse from his mother started as soon as she got inside her door. Her son didn't have the, well, courage to stand up to his 4'9" mother and tell her to stop bullying his fiance. Bullying seems to be a characteristic behavior of this attorney's family. This attorney’s mother, a low-paid factory worker for most of her life, seemed intensely jealous of her son’s, this attorney’s first wife..This attorney’s first wife was never responsible for that.fact that she might have been disowned for her stupid behavior when she was around 15. Within less than a few years this attorney started belittling and mocking his first wife to her face, much like his hateful mother did on more than once occasion, and then started to physically abuse her, once so badly she needed emergency surgery. He now seems to be suffering from some kind of delusion that what he did to his first wife is A-okay because he has some degree, which some of her educated acquaintances have described as "worthless" (they obviously promote misogyny, too)I which now that allows him to harbor a delusional belief that he is now some kind of Jesus Christ clone. Obviously, very hypocritical, esp. since he should have gone to jail for what he did to his first wife before they got married. He has never had the decency to even apologize to his first wife. It seems his second wife might have gone out of her way to slander his first wife behind her back, too, since his first wife found out that she went with George W. Cochran, to get a marriage license, barely 3 days after the divorce to his first wife was final. This attorney was never the serious kind of student that his first wife was. Even in law school, he seemed more interested in socializing (obviously, in ways that were inappropriate and immoral, including slandering his first wife) with his classmates than actually studying. When his first wife asked him what kind of grades he was earning in law school, he frowned and refused to answer.
