I was blatantly ripped off by this woman when I hired her in 2023 -2024. Her retainer was twice as high as the average in Cleveland and I am suspicious now looking back that she was just trying to take advantage of a desperate mom from the start. I paid it and for months she refused to file anything.... She recommended I not sing my divorce papers until she looked at them. She proceeded to not do anything for 6 months after telling me this was time sensitive and we needed to act fast ( until I sent the retainer fee of course) she never even filed as my new attorney with the court system. she wanted to schedule phone calls that would eat up the retainer and would act like we would file this or that or even a contempt against my ex. (As he was doing awful things to harm the children) Nothing. Id push her, she'd want to schedule another call, over and over. More than 6 months and she still hasn't contacted the courts, I became angry and requested the remaining amount of the retainer back. (She NEVER sent me a bill) She then swore she was filling a form, but needed another $ 300 like a idiot or out of desperation and the fact I already invested everything into her, I sent her another 300. WEEKS went by, nothing. I fired her and demanded a bill with everything itemized. She never ever bother with that. She kept all my files at her "office" and would not return my calls to pick them up. She took over 5k from a desperate mom fighting against a vindictive ex, and she completely ripped me off.

I don’t even know where to begin, just to say keep looking! Was terrible at returning calls and text, took retainer and took forever to get my divorce started. I believe had zero knowledge at Qdro’s , her and my x husbands attorney kept putting the blame on each other for things not getting done! My ...Qdro is nothing like she thought it would be, I’m assuming it was like the second one she ever did! Never would I recommend her! I asked for itemized bill and never received it! I fact I had to deliver my papers to the union myself because she sent them ones that were not signed by the judge but kept arguing with me about it so I went to the courts and picked them up and delivered to union!

Hired her signed contract and paid retainer. Talked on the phone a few times also scheduled phone calls she would call hours later no text or call from her office just say waiting around for hours and she never filed any motions like she said she would do and then stopped responding to calls emails ...and text. Been begging for billing summary I was supposed to receive monthly since June . Have also asked for remainder of retainer back and have not received after asking for over a month.
