Victor Anthony Mezacapa III

Victor A. Mezacapa, III has decades of state and federal trial experience in the areas of business, real property, discrimination, harassment, domestic relations, insurance law, personal injury, medical malpractice, and criminal.

Mr. Mezacapa now focuses his trial practice on business, corporate and fraud matters, with additional efforts directed at advising entrepreneurs with asset protection, business formation, contracts, transactions, real property and employment matters. He also serves as General Counsel to a number of entrepreneurs and their business ventures.

In addition to his trial work, Mr. Mezacapa has served as both chairman and panel member of multiple arbitrations for the Alternative Dispute Resolution Division of the Cuyahoga Court of Common Pleas. He has also served in the capacity of mediator for the Lake County Court of Common Pleas.

Mr. Mezacapa is a member of the Ohio State Bar Association and The American Association for Justice. He has served as regional director of the Student Mock Trial Competition of the American Association for Justice. He is also a member of the Lake County Bar Association.

Mr. Mezacapa provides volunteer legal service with the Legal Aid Society of Cleveland and received the prestigious Trustee Award in 2004 for outstanding volunteer service. He has also created a middle school mock trial program at Our Lady of Mount Carmel School in an effort to introduce legal advocacy to young students in Lake County. Mr. Mezacapa sits on the Board of Directors for the Michelle’s Wish Foundation, a local philanthropic non-profit organization whose function is to raise funds to provide terminally ill young children and young adults the opportunity to “make their dreams a reality”. Mr. Mezacapa is very involved in civic and community affairs, as a lifelong resident of Lake County he has coached youth and young adult baseball and basketball. Mr. Mezacapa has been the President of the Our Lady of Mount Carmel Athletic Booster Board of Directors, while coaching numerous boys and girls basketball teams.
