I was consulted by Tanja over the phone. She failed to let me speak. When I was finally able to ask what the difference between a pre and post nuptial agreement was she explained it was BEFORE and AFTER marriage - obviously. After I asked about the difference in legalities she reminded me how ridicul...ous this conversation was due to our timeline (which I had told her we were not pressed on a PREnup but wanted to understand the difference). She then went on to say how contentious these situations can be and how they’re “never pretty”. Tanja was rude, short and disheartening. I left the conversation confident I would not be providing her with my business.

I put my trust in this lawyer and was disappointed I advised her that my husband would contest the divorce. She insisted that his lawyer had advised her that the divorce would not be contested. She believed his lawyer and took him at his word. A few weeks later, my husband decided to contest the di...vorce. Tanja did not even call me or try to discuss. She sent me a cold e-mail stating that that "she is not the right lawyer for my case" and that she "would no longer be representing me". She didn't even try to work things out! She simply said in an e-mail that she would be filing a motion to remove herself from the case. Your situation may be different, but I in my own personal opinion, I would recommend her for uncontested divorce only.
