I recently contacted Mr. Sarmiento via email after finding him on Avvo. He was nice enough to take his time and respond to my correspondences and provide me with all the necessary information that I required. I am from New York and I have visited two lawyers and left their offices feeling like I comm...itted a crime for overstaying my visa and I had no other way but to use their over priced services. First of all, let me thank Mr. Sarmiento and his team for such the outstanding work he has done on my wavier, which got an approval. Thank you very much. I am from New York and I had a lawyer who I paid a lot of money to handle my I601 wavier case. The lawyer was terrible. When he prepared my argu...ment I read it and told him it was not a good case but he did not listen he told me he know what he was doing so I went along. He went along and file the case it was denied. I was very bewildered because I thought that I will be deported. I tried to talk to the lawyer and they did not take my case seriously.
