I highly recommend JP and his staff for any immigration work. He was recommended to me by a close friend for handling my wife's immigration from China, and I am very glad I took the advice. It was as painless as anything requiring an attorney could be. During her final interview in GuangZhou I had... the opportunity to stand in line and talk to a bunch of people who attempted China -> US immigration by themselves, with no attorney, and some of the horror stories that I heard shocked me. Don't try to go it alone, its not worth the pain. The problem is that the actual process doesn't turn out to be anything like the application makes it look. We only had 1 little hiccup, and it was all my fault. At the begging JP told me what documents I would need. It went something like, "You need X. Bring Y.... they probably won't even look at it, but if they ask for it & you don't have it, it will be trouble. They say Z is 'optional', but you won't get the visa without it." I didn't bring 1 year of tax returns for a year that I had not filed any taxes. JP told me that it might be trouble, and suggested that I late file an empty tax return for that year and bring that.... but I didn't... and it ended up costing us about a 3 week delay. It all worked out in the end, but I wish I had just listened to him the first time. There is no substitute for the experience these guys have in actually doing this over and over. Don't go it alone. Hire Sarmiento & do what he says. He knows what he's talking about.

JP was very professional and efficient. He answered all our questions right away, identified possible setbacks and additional requirements, and handled my children's cases without delay. We received the green card approvals in the timeframe that he had mentioned. I couldn't have asked for a better se...rvice.
