Jessica Lynn Mackeigan

I focus my litigation practice on representing companies and individuals in business, commercial, and employment matters, as well as tort and product liability matters. I provide high-quality legal representation to individuals or companies in various aspects of litigation, and in various areas, including: Labor and Employment; Products Liability; and Business and Commercial Law.

Prior to entering private practice, I worked as a Pro Se and Death Penalty Staff Attorney for the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Ohio. Previously, I was a law clerk to Judge Sara Lioi and served as the Multidistrict Litigation Law Clerk for the Court, providing legal support and drafting assistance to Judge Dan Aaron Polster and Judge James G. Carr.

I graduated summa cum laude from the Cleveland Marshall College of Law at Cleveland State University . While in law school, I served as a Research Editor for the Cleveland State Law Review and received the Outstanding Note of the Year Award. Prior to law school, I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice, magna cum laude, from Baldwin Wallace College.

I am admitted to practice before the Ohio courts and the U.S. District Courts for the Northern and Southern Districts of Ohio. I am a member of the Federal Bar Association, the Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association, and serve on the Executive Committee of the Northeast Ohio Chapter of the American Constitution Society.
