Mr. Yen is a Cleveland, Ohio-born attorney and investment banker with more than thirty years of experience having started up, merged or acquired more than 60 companies, internationally as well as . Yen is experienced in acquisition strategy, corporate organization and management, marketing and sales development, project management, financial and operational analyses and modeling, fundraising, mergers and acquisitions, and political relations. Mr. Yen studied under Nobel Prize winning economist James Tobin and Former U. S. Undersecretary of State Richard Cooper and graduating from Yale University with a Baccalaureate (Ba) degree in Economics, then graduated with a Juris Doctor degree (JD) in International Law from Case Western Reserve University School of Law. Mr. Yen was Administrative Assistant to the Honorable Charles Vanik, Chairman of the House Subcommittee on Trade of the United States House Ways and Means Committee, and drafted the Jackson-Vanik Trade Bill which granted Most Favored Nation Trade status to the then Soviet Union, and assisted Mr. Vanik as Congressional monitor to the Bilateral Trade Negotiations in Paris. Mr. Yen has served in various positions of corporate management in Singapore, Taiwan, Korea, the United States and China, forming many joint ventures and new businesses for clients in industries ranging from chemicals, oil equipment, machine tools, automotive parts, engineering, construction, steel, real estate, banking and finance, and mergers and acquisitions. Major successes include the acquisition of the former Gulf+Western Advanced Development and Engineering Center (military design and engineering), the former Liquid Crystal Division of General Electric Company, and asset purchases of facilities formerly owned by Northstar Steel and USX (U. S. Steel), as well as numerous transactions in finance and industry with Hyundai Motor Company, Samsung Heavy Industries, Korean Heavy Industries and Construction Co., Ltd., Dana Corporation, Arvin Industries, Chrysler Corporation, General Motors, the former LOF Corporation, Ford Lio Ho (Taiwan), Nippon Steel, and Dundee Corporation (Canada).
