I hired this attorney to pursue a collection matter and was told his hourly rate would be $450, with his associate billing between $200–$300 an hour. Based on this, I moved forward, trusting that he would take the case to court if necessary. To my shock, when the invoice arrived, he charged $780 p...er hour for his own time and $580 per hour for his associate—rates far above what was promised. Even more troubling, he recovered approximately $20,000 from my customer but kept $10,000 for himself in legal fees, even though the case was never taken to court. Despite the significant fees I paid, the matter remains unresolved. I still have not received the remaining balance from my customer, and I now have to hire a new attorney to continue the case from the beginning. This experience has been extremely disappointing—both financially and professionally. I feel deceived, overbilled, and taken advantage of. I would strongly caution anyone considering this attorney: in my experience, the promises made upfront were not honored, and the results delivered fell far short of even basic expectations.
