Steven Edward Wolkin

I naively hired this attorney to represent the best interests of my minor child as the guardian ad litem during a child custody case. From the very start as my child's GAL Mr. Wolkin repeatedly missed scheduled appointments. He also attempted a home visit on the wrong day. When asked to recuse himsel...f of this appointment he became bellicose and exhibited incredulousness when his professionalism was questioned by my attorneys. Mr. Wolkin clearly also had a very difficult time maintaining even a simple understanding of facts and events. An inordinate amount of my time was spent correcting the repeated factual mistakes that would almost invariably end up in a deluge of unnecessary emails and correspondence. Belying his own advice to newly appointed GAL's his invoices for services were incomplete and vague. Mr. Wolkin also engaged in questionable misrepresentations to other principles involved in this complex custody case. Mr. Wolkin repeatedly filed motions which according to this concerned and loving father were totally at odds with the charge he was given, that being the best interest of my child.
