Yes you should indicate that you were in the military. provide the discharge papers id asked. Should have no impact on naturalization.

Yes as my colleagues and your attorney have indicated. You may use the visa as long as it is valid and you have valid status and passport.

The H-1B cap has been filled this year. Unless you are going to a cap exempt or you are not cap subject you will need to wait until 2018 cap filing...
