John Brendan Gibbons

Mr. Gibbons was a great attorney and offered me sound counsel when in areas I have no experience in. He took time to call me back and meet with me in person. He is the opposite of intimidating. I see some negative reviews here but really think your mileage may very. He’s extremely kind and put me at ...ease. He is very familiar with process and if I ever need legal counsel or representation I won’t hesitate to retain him again.

Attorney Gibbons did not send out subpoenas in a timely manner, so therefore my witness did not appear in court. He failed to submit the necessary documents to the court for review as we discussed. He allowed the prosecutor to object every statement from me without a counter complaint and/or interj...ection. He also requested a significantly high retainer and did not perform. My trial would fall under "miscarriage of justice."

Wouldn't know where to start. Did not respond to any questions or concerns. Did not say a word to the judge in trial. Was not prepared for court at all!!!! We were not informed on the process (most likely not because of the lack of communication, but because no time was dedicated to the case on his e...nd.) However, when there was an opportunity to get any of his attention a lot of things were promised from him, but NOTHING was done. Nothing at all. I wish i could say at least one good thing about my experience with John, but there is not a single thing!!! :(

I would like to say that Mr. Gibbons was very courteous, professional and knowledgeable in my encounter, he represented my ex-wife through our divorce. I only wish he had represented me instead of her. Unfortunately, I have experienced a few others who were none of the above The guidelines say that... I may only review lawyers that I have hired... But, considering I had to pay for him, I believe this constituted this condition
